What a day!

Let me start with yesterday. Yesterday we had friends over for a "splash party" in our backyard, followed by hotdogs and junk food. It was great. The kids were exhausted too! Score!

James and I finally finished our movie (the last 15-20 minutes) and then we played Trivia Pursuit. I'll be honest, I absolutely suck at this game. So we quit that and played Phase 10. James won. But at least we both played phase 10 on the last hand, he just went out first, leaving me with 2 cards in my hand. Good job, James. He had refused to play boggle with me since I royally whoop his butt at that every time.

This morning, I went walking with friends, as planned. This new park had hills, more like inclines anyway. I didn't enjoy this. My calves were screaming pain in a high pitched manner by the time I called it quits. Literally, it felt as though toxins in my muscles were leeching into my blood and that in turn was making me nauseaus! Who knows, but I felt very near to throwing up. It wasn't until 10 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. that I felt better. I am tired though.

Ethan, my youngest and only son, is crawling, or extremely close, anyway. He's mobile. That's for sure. He's practically walking around. Not really, but I wish he'd slow down and just stay small a wee bit longer. There's my Ethan update.

James and I had lunch together today. It was really nice! Then we enjoyed some relaxing conversation while Ethan flirted with the lady next to our table. Rach and Em were in school.

I'm going to go upstairs, finish the laundry on my bed and go to bed. Now that I've promised you that's what I'll do, I guess I'll have to stick to it, huh?
